Cooling System Service
Radiator, coolant, and cooling service to prevent overheating on the grades.
Serving Brevard, Asheville, Hendersonville, Fletcher & Cherokee NC
Climbing the mountain grades of Western North Carolina puts real load on your cooling system. Towing to Asheville or hauling up to Cherokee generates heat that a healthy cooling system must manage. Mahon CDJR services radiators, coolant, and the full cooling system to prevent overheating.

Frequently Asked Questions
How often should coolant be replaced?
Most Mopar OAT coolant lasts up to 10 years or 150,000 miles for the first interval, then every 5 years or 100,000 miles. Cummins diesels follow their own schedule. We'll check yours.
Why does my vehicle overheat when towing or climbing?
Heavy load and steep grades generate more heat. If the system is weak, marginal, or low on coolant, it can overheat. We'll pinpoint and fix the cause.
Can I just add water if I'm low on coolant?
In an emergency, a small amount of water can help you reach us, but it dilutes the coolant's protection. Have the system properly refilled and checked for leaks.
