Ram 1500 batteries vary by trim and powertrain. Standard V6 trims use a Group 94R AGM, while HEMI and Hurricane eTorque setups add larger batteries and auxiliary units. Our service team has the right battery for every Ram 1500 configuration.

Battery Care Tips for Your Ram 1500
- eTorque systems use auxiliary batteries that need periodic inspection.
- RHO owners: heavy electrical loads (audio, lights, accessories) shorten battery life — check annually.
- Towing accessories (electric trailer brakes, etc.) load the battery — inspect terminals seasonally.
- Winter cranking matters — load-test annually before cold weather.
- Expected lifespan for AGM batteries is 4-6 years.
What's Included in Every Battery at Mahon CDJR
Every battery service at Mahon CDJR starts with a free Mopar battery test that measures voltage, cold cranking amps, and internal resistance. If replacement is needed we use the OEM-spec Mopar battery matched to your Ram 1500 — including AGM batteries for vehicles with auto start-stop or eTorque. We also test your alternator and starter while we're at it.
Note on Pricing: Battery price depends on group size, CCA rating, and whether your Ram 1500 requires an AGM (Absorbent Glass Mat) battery for start-stop or eTorque systems.
