2025 Jeep Gladiator Maintenance Schedule
Complete Service Intervals for the 2025 Gladiator 3.6L Pentastar V6
Proudly serving Brevard, Asheville, Hendersonville, Fletcher & Cherokee NC

2025 Jeep Gladiator Scheduled Maintenance Overview
The Jeep Gladiator is the only open-air 4x4 pickup, built on the Wrangler platform with a 5-foot bed. Every 2025 Gladiator uses the proven 3.6L Pentastar V6 with the 8-speed automatic, the only transmission offered this year, so one maintenance plan covers the whole lineup from Sport to Rubicon X. Heavy-duty truck use plus Wrangler trail capability means timely oil service is essential, whether you're commuting around Brevard, towing to Lake Lure or running trails in Pisgah. Our Mopar-certified team handles every 2025 Gladiator service with OEM-spec SAE 0W-20 full synthetic oil.
The 2025 Gladiator uses the Stellantis Oil Change Indicator System, which monitors engine RPM, load, temperature and operating conditions to decide when your truck needs an oil change. Off-road use and towing both shorten intervals significantly. Stellantis specifies never exceeding 10,000 miles, 12 months or 350 engine hours between oil changes regardless of the indicator, and frequent trail use, towing, dusty conditions or mountain grades will bring the indicator on sooner.

- Engine oil and filter: at least every 12 months even at low mileage
- Front and rear suspension, tie rod ends and brake linings: inspect every 20,000 miles or 2 years
- Engine air filter: replace every 30,000 miles or 3 years
- Engine coolant: flush and replace Mopar OAT (MS.90032) coolant at 10 years or 150,000 miles; the manual lists no shorter second interval

Engine-Specific Maintenance Details
The 2025 Gladiator uses a single gas engine, the 3.6L Pentastar V6 (285 hp, 260 lb-ft), with the 850RE 8-speed automatic. It takes 5 quarts of SAE 0W-20 full synthetic (MS-6395) with a Mopar 68191349AC filter, six Mopar SP225755AB spark plugs at 100,000 miles, and Mopar ZF 8 & 9 Speed ATF in the transmission, which has no scheduled fluid change in the owner's manual. The transfer case uses Mopar ATF+4, the front axle 75W-85 GL-5 gear oil and the rear axle 75W-85 with a friction modifier on Trac-Lok models, and the cooling system holds 13.0 quarts of Mopar OAT coolant. Our Mopar-certified technicians use the correct OEM-spec parts and fluids on every visit.

Off-Road, Trail & Towing Maintenance
Gladiator combines Wrangler off-road capability with pickup truck duty cycles. Owners in Western NC commonly use Gladiators for trail runs in Pisgah and DuPont, plus towing campers, boats, and equipment, and both stress different systems. The 2025 plan reflects that: the engine air filter is inspected at every oil change in dusty or off-road conditions and replaced as needed, front and rear axle fluid is inspected at 20,000, 60,000, 100,000 and 140,000 miles and changed every 40,000 miles for off-road or frequent-towing use, and transfer case fluid is inspected at 30,000, 90,000 and 150,000 miles and changed every 60,000 miles for frequent trailer towing or fleet use. There is no scheduled automatic transmission fluid change for the 8-speed, even for heavy towing, and brake linings and suspension are inspected every 20,000 miles. Tell our advisors how you use your truck so the right severe-duty items get done.
- Wash undercarriage thoroughly after off-road runs.
- After deep water crossings, check engine oil and differential fluid for water contamination.
- Inspect axle vent tubes after off-road or water crossing.
- Mojave and Rubicon owners should especially watch driveline fluid service intervals.
- Inspect tow hitch, electrical connections, and ball mount before every tow trip.
- Towing close to the 7,700 lb max rating is severe-duty operation — shorten transmission fluid intervals.
- Bed tie-downs and Trail Rated underbody protection benefit from periodic visual inspection.
- Inspect rocker rails and tow hooks after rock crawling.
Severe & Special Operating Conditions
Stellantis defines severe operating conditions as any of the items below: trailer towing, snow plowing, heavy loading, taxi, police or delivery (commercial) use, off-road or desert operation, and more than 50 percent sustained high-speed driving in hot weather above 90 degrees. Most Gladiator owners qualify for at least one, and the 2025 manual shortens specific items accordingly: front and rear axle fluid every 40,000 miles and transfer case fluid every 60,000 miles, while the Oil Change Indicator calls for oil service sooner under these conditions.
- Frequent off-road driving in dust, mud, sand, or water
- Towing — Gladiator is rated up to 7,700 lbs
- Frequent short trips that prevent engine warm-up
- Heavy stop-and-go traffic
- Sustained mountain grade driving (Western NC routes)
- Operating in dusty or sandy conditions (gravel forest roads count)
- Extreme cold weather (below 0°F) or extreme heat (above 100°F)
- Heavy bed payloads (tools, equipment, camping gear)

Service for 2025 Jeep Gladiator Owners Across Western NC
Gladiator owners across Western NC use these midsize pickups in a mix of demanding ways: commuting from Brevard, towing campers up to Lake Lure, hauling materials around Asheville and Hendersonville, running trails near Cherokee NC, and weekend trips through Pisgah and DuPont. Mountain grades stress brakes and cooling. Off-road runs stress driveline fluids. Towing stresses the transmission and cooling system. Our Mopar-certified service team understands every 2025 Gladiator duty cycle and tailors each visit accordingly.
Monthly & Semi-Annual Owner Checks
Between scheduled service visits, a few quick owner checks help catch problems before they become repairs. These take only a couple of minutes and apply to every 2025 Jeep Gladiator, and the owner's manual adds one twice-a-year item of its own: lubricate the door hinge joints with white lithium grease.
- Tire pressure — check monthly; before every tow trip; after every off-road run.
- Engine oil level — check every 2-3 fuel fill-ups; before any long trip or trail run.
- Coolant level — verify monthly.
- Brake fluid level — check monthly.
- Washer fluid — top off as needed.
- Visual underbody check — look for fluid leaks, damaged skid plates after trail use.
- Trailer hitch and electrical connections — inspect at each tow trip.
- Battery terminals — inspect every 6 months for off-road Gladiators.
