Ram ProMaster Battery Specifications
Gas ProMaster vans use a 12V AGM battery to support stop-start and commercial electrical loads. ProMaster EV has both a 12V AGM (for accessories and startup) plus a 110 kWh high-voltage drive battery covered by Stellantis EV warranty.

Battery Care Tips for Your Ram ProMaster
- Commercial use shortens battery life — expect 3-5 years for heavy delivery duty.
- ProMaster EV owners: the 12V battery still needs annual testing.
- Stop-start requires AGM — never substitute flooded.
- Inspect terminals weekly for fleet vehicles.
- Cold-weather cranking matters — load-test annually.
What's Included in Every Battery at Mahon CDJR
Every battery service at Mahon CDJR starts with a free Mopar battery test that measures voltage, cold cranking amps, and internal resistance. If replacement is needed we use the OEM-spec Mopar battery matched to your Ram ProMaster — including AGM batteries for vehicles with auto start-stop or eTorque. We also test your alternator and starter while we're at it.
Note on Pricing: Battery price depends on group size, CCA rating, and whether your Ram ProMaster requires an AGM (Absorbent Glass Mat) battery for start-stop or eTorque systems.
