Ram ProMaster Oil Change Specifications
The Ram ProMaster gas cargo van uses the proven 3.6L Pentastar V6 across the lineup. The ProMaster EV (all-electric variant) does not require oil changes — only the gas variants need this service. Commercial duty cycles mean conservative service intervals for the gas ProMasters.

Oil Change Tips for Your Ram ProMaster
- Commercial ProMaster owners: oil change every 5,000-7,500 miles for heavy delivery and fleet use.
- Stop-start delivery driving counts as severe-duty operation.
- ProMaster EV owners: no engine oil change needed — but drive unit gearbox and battery coolant still need periodic service.
- Always use full synthetic 5W-20 in the Pentastar.
- Fleet operators: ask about Ram BusinessLink service programs for fleet pricing.
